After a traumatic start to her educational journey, Lesley Crawford struggled through school and only got her diploma to keep her promise to her mother. When her own daughter faced similar struggles in school, Lesley overcame her fears and pursued a degree in early education intending to create positive learning
environments where children can overcome barriers that could stifle their future success. Now she has a fulfilling 20-year career as an early childhood educator and advocate with a trauma-informed lens, helping children develop their unique abilities and empowering parents to advocate for their children.
