our vision

We believe in high-quality early childhood educators.

The Early Excellence Project and Trying Together envision a future where passionate people are recruited, retained, and respected, and as a result, all children are nurtured, inspired, and educated.

the goal

We strive to recruit & retain as many early childhood educators as possible.

To achieve this, we compiled stories from teachers and families to inspire new and existing educators to join and remain in this transformative field.

PA Voters

A poll, commissioned by the Early Learning PA Coalition and conducted by Susquehanna Polling and Research in February 2023, found that 98% of PA voters believe that early childhood education is important.

Recruit

Recruiting early childhood educators is essential for building a strong foundation in children's development and learning. To attract passionate and qualified candidates, our campaign highlights the rewarding experiences of educators, parents, and caregivers, emphasizing the positive impacts on young lives.

Retain

Retaining early childhood educators is a key component to delivering high-quality programs and meeting the needs of children. To ensure educators remain engaged and satisfied in their roles, our campaign provides resources through the Institute for Early Childhood Career Pathways.

Respect

Respecting early childhood educators is vital to recognizing their critical role in shaping our next generation. Our campaign honors and uplifts educators, amplifying their voices, valuing their expertise and celebrating their contributions to the community.

Our Partners

Building the Future of Early Childhood Education.

At the Early Excellence Project, we see ourselves as future 'architects of change in childcare' and will strive to design a blueprint for highly successful and educational childcare centers and contribute to new and innovative research designs to influence the childcare landscape and policy. The future of the Early Excellence Project is big.
